Fire crews respond to shed fire in Chippewa County
Fire crews responded to a shed fire at 8794 County Road T in the Town of Howard Saturday afternoon.

Fire crews responded to a shed fire on a farm in Chippewa County early Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to 8794 County Highway T in the Town of Howard.

The Chippewa Fire District Chief says the 30’x 30’ shed which was used as a mechanical shop was connected to a five bay garage, but crews were able to save the garage before it caught on fire.

Colfax and Tilden fire departments also responded to the fire.

Right now the cause of the fire is still undetermined and there is no damage estimate.

Crews are on the scene of a fire at 8794 County Road T in Chippewa Falls.

Our photographer says he sees smoke coming out of a structure. Chippewa Fire District, Tilden Fire and Colfax Fire are all on the scene.
