School Supply Drive

Sacred Heart Hospital is gearing up for its third 'Mission in Motion' project. In the past, the program has provided aide to disaster victims and those in need of healthcare supplies.

This time the focus is on children in need of school supplies. Half of the items donated will be distributed to children in the area. The rest will be shipped to children in third world countries.

"In some of our missions in Haiti and Tanzania the children have literally no school supplies at all," said Becky Schultz, director of organizational learning at Sacred Heart.

Some of the items needed include, notebooks, scissors, erasers, rulers, protractor, pencils and crayons.

Donations can be made until Aug. 13. They can be dropped off in the hospital entryway by the information desk.
