An Altoona woman is charged after police say she rammed her car into her boyfriend's vehicle on purpose, and lied to police about it.
Nineteen-year-old Jennifer Reed faces four charges including first-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, domestic abuse. According to the criminal complaint, reed approached her boyfriend at a McDonald’s in Eau Claire and began arguing with him. The complaint says when he left in his vehicle, Reed followed him and bumped him with her car several times. Both vehicles eventually spun out of control.
Investigators say the boyfriend told police he then panicked and left the scene. They say his probation does not allow him to have any contact with Reed. Investigators say Reed initially told them she was the only one involved in the crash.
No one was hurt.
