An area university spent nearly three years evaluating students, faculty, staff and alumni and now it’s reaping the rewards.
UW-Eau Claire earned its accreditation from the higher learning commission. It’s been continuously accredited since 1950. The evaluation team commended UW-Eau Claire for its commitment to students, its service-learning, its study abroad program and the way faculty and students work together on research.
The university won't have to go through the accreditation process again until 2019.
