A dive team in Lincoln County has recovered the body of a 29-year-old Auburndale man whose canoe reportedly overturned late last night.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department received a call yesterday about 11:35 p.m. that the canoe had overturned on Long Lake in the town of Harrison. That's about 20 miles north of Wausau.

They say they found Mark Linzmeier's body in seven feet of water about two hours later. It's not immediately known whether Linzmeier was alone in the canoe, or if alcohol was a factor. The state D.N.R. is still investigating.
