Two area counties are getting millions of dollars from the state to help improve some roads. The money is from Governor Jim Doyle’s "Grow Wisconsin" initiative.

Trempealeau County says it's getting $1.1 million to reconstruct the County J and Wisconsin 95 intersection in Arcadia and $1.2 million for U.S. 53 in Osseo. Construction on those is set to start this June.

Dunn County is getting $4.2 million to resurface eight miles of Wisconsin 79. Construction is set to start in May.
