Local jobs are at risk as PDM Bridge's Eau Claire plant and the union says they're at a stalemate over a labor contract.
According to the company's website, 225 people work at the Eau Claire plant. PDM Bridge says the contract's most recent extension expires at midnight. The company says it met with the union more than 20 times, but the union hasn't engaged in good faith bargaining. But a representative from the union says it’s ready to make a deal and says as of right now, PDM Bridge has refused to negotiate.
