Northwest Cancels Flights

It's a 3-day stretch of cancelled flights for Northwest Airlines.

The carrier had more than 200 flight cancellations as of 9pm last night.

It's the third day in a row of higher-than-average cancellation rates for the Eagan, Minnesota- based carrier.

Northwest says pilot absenteeism is to blame.

The union that represents pilots disputes that.

They say if it's correct, it's because of the stress of increased flying time for pilots.

The union says Northwest doesn't have enough pilots on the payroll to fly its full schedule.
