Deputies arrested three people for beating up a man and stealing his money.
35-year-old Eric Gohde of Altoona, 23-year-old Joseph Robotka of Cameron and 33-year-old Lori Toth from Eau Claire all appeared in court Thursday. The Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department says the 25-year-old man was walking to his car that was parked at the Chippewa Valley Airport Service on Chuck Road, when Gohde and Robotka came up behind him, punched him, and stole $100.
The man had a lump on his head, a bloody nose, and was punched in the face. Deputies say Gohde and Robotka then got into a van driven by Toth. They say Toth and the victim used to be in a relationship. Deputies say there's no danger to the public.
