Fair Attendance Up

Officials at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair in Chippewa Falls can't remember the last time all five days of the fair included pleasant weather.

They say that has contributed to attendance being up this year. Fair co-owner Julius "Pinky" Lee says attendance is up seven percent this year.

He says that has put them in the range of about 70,000 people who came through the gates during the fair's run.
