An Alaska mother was so impressed with the staff and services at Sacred Heart Hospital when she had her first child, that she decided to travel all the way back here to have her second baby.
Gina Sookiayak is originally from Barron, Wisconsin. But these days she, her husband and daughter Eliana live in a small Alaskan village. They knew right away they would need to come back to Wisconsin to make sure everything went smoothly for the birth of daughter Ariana.
Sookiayak says, "Where we live in Alaska is a small village of about 250 people. We don't have doctors or hospitals so we had to leave to go have the baby somewhere else."
Ariana was born on Wednesday. She was her dad's birthday present. His birthday was Friday.
