A man who officers say admitted to burglarizing more than a dozen homes in Eau Claire County is now charged.
Twenty-eight-year old Danny E. Davis faces 15 counts of burglary, one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possessing and illegally obtaining a prescription. Eau Claire police say Davis admitted to the burglaries after officers identified him on surveillance video. A woman on Oak Knoll Road says she called police after seeing a suspicious man in her driveway last week. Police caught Davis after a chase.
According to the criminal complaint, officers found meth and a glass pipe in Davis’s pockets after the chase. They also found Metformin in his car, which is a prescription medicine used to decrease blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. Davis is scheduled to be in court next month.
