Slain Marine Honored in Wisconsin

Governor Jim Doyle has ordered flags on state buildings at half-staff today to honor Marine Corps Corporal Matthew Zindars, who died in Iraq last week.

The 21-year-old from Watertown was killed while on patrol in Ramadi when a roadside bomb exploded.

The order -- for Wisconsin National Guard armories, air bases and other facilities -- starts at sunrise and ends at sundown.

The Marine's funeral is also today at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown.
