Transplant Games

The eighth biennial U.S. Transplant Games is in full swing this week in the Twin Cities, hosting hundreds of athletes. Sixty-eight of those participants are members of Team Wisconsin.

The Transplant Games is a four-day Olympic-style athletic competition for recipients of lifesaving solid organ or bone marrow transplants.

One Rice Lake competitor says it's a chance to raise awareness for organ donation.

The event is hosted by the National Kidney Foundation.
