The Eau Claire City Council is one day away from securing 70 jobs in Eau Claire.
Monday, the City Council talked about the U.S. Bank call center jobs that could come to Eau Claire.
The city could give the bank a $35,000 forgivable job credit loan to bring the jobs to town.
It's a move one job staffing agency says is great for the city.
"You’re seeing, contact centers choosing the upper Midwest for our strong values and good communication skills,” says Lisa Fiore of Manpower. “It's always good to have employers seek out our talent here in the Chippewa Valley.
The center will fill up the downtown bank's empty second floor.
The council will vote on the loan Tuesday night.
