Help for Uninsured Children

By  |

The families of 58,000 children in Wisconsin don't have health insurance. But health officials want people to know that those children don't have to go without services, especially before heading back to school.

BadgerCare provides healthcare coverage for uninsured working families in the state with children up to age nineteen.

Pat Perkins with the Eau Claire City-County Health Department says the program provides physicals, immunizations, free dental and eye exams, and prescription drugs.
