A Chippewa County couple hasn't even been in their new home two months. Now, they've got a remodeling project to undertake.

Sheriff's officials say 45-year-old Jerry Davis of Chippewa Falls drove off Highway 124 in Eagle Point and into a home owned by Lloyd and Tonda Miller.

Lloyd Miller says the vehicle went through a seven acre field, trees, bushes, and then hit the corner of his home, going through nine inch concrete.

Authorities say Davis was cited for operating after revocation and unsafe lane deviation. He was injured, but not seriously.

Miller says he and his wife just finished moving into their newly built home last month. He says the house was shifted two to four inches.
