With football season now here, and the Brewers finally mattering in September, the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau is warning ticket buyers to watch where they get their tickets from.
>
In Thursday night’s buyer beware; the B.B.B. says that the secondary-ticket market for sports and entertainment events is a $10 billion industry, with on-line sales making up about 1/3 of that.
>
The bureau recommends that buyers deal with internet sellers with a B.B.B on-line seal on the site. Also, if you buy tickets in an on-line auction, choose a seller with a long history of solid dealings. Pay with a credit card or other on-line payment that offers protection and potential reimbursement.
