Badger Fans Seeing Red Over New Big Ten Network
On Saturday the Wisconsin Badgers football team made it's debut on the Big Ten Network. But, not every fan was able to catch the action. Those with the wrong cable plan were out of luck.

The mood was a bit different on this Badger game-day, as those wearing red are now seeing red.
>
"I think it's pretty dumb, I mean you gotta pay for these games now and that's how football's going to be from now on?" longtime Badger fan Chris Zibrowski asked. "That's just not how it's supposed to be," he said.
>
Zibrowski is one of many upset by the new Big Ten Network.
>
"I've had season tickets since I was five and since I've gone to college TV has been the only way I could watch badger games," he said.
>
But, now he says even the TV won't help, because his cable provider hasn't added BTN to their lineup. More than 120 cable providers in the Midwest are offering BTN, but some including Charter, Time-Warner and Comcast, the largest provider in the country have not.
>
"You should be able to sit with your TV in your home and be able to watch whatever you want," Zibrowski said.
>
Ryan Hennes, another die-hard fan sees it differently.
>
"Personally it's actually a really good idea for the Big Ten, it raises a lot of money for all the programs," he said.
>
The BTN, a 20-year partnership between the Big Ten and Fox Sports, does that by sharing the revenue between Fox and the 11 Big Ten schools.
>
But, funding aside, Hennes says what's good in principal, is still annoying to fans.
>
"Everybody wants to watch them and now that they're not on, what are you going to do, go to a local establishment? Those might get kind of crowded if you just want to watch them at home," Hennes said.
