UW-Stout's police chief is taking part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run halfway across the world.

Lisa Walter will run the final leg of the torch run during the Special Olympics World Summer Games in China.
>
Walter began her trip overseas Sunday and the run will end with opening ceremonies on October 2nd.
