NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (CLARK COUNTY NEWS RELEASE) -- The Clark County Forest ATV/UTV trails south of Hwy. 10 will reopen effective immediately. The Clark County Forest ATV/UTV trails north of Hwy. 10 remain open. Trails are still wet and vulnerable to damage from excessive acceleration and speed. Please ride responsibly to help reduce maintenance costs and avoid resource damage. Off trail riding is strictly prohibited.

A 2.5 mile section of the trail system from intersection 19 (Koehler’s Ford Forest Road Web Center) to intersection 20 (Eau Claire County line) is closed for repairs. The trail closure is clearly marked. Trail damage at this location has created a serious safety concern with the Koch Pipeline. This section of the trail will be closed indefinitely. The Eau Claire County connector is also closed. There is no access to Eau Claire County ATV trails at this location.

UTV’s are allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the summer. Street legal motorcycles, driven by licensed drivers are allowed on the trail system. Non-street legal motorcycles are not allowed on the trail system.

Clark County ATV/UTV trails are subject to periodic closure. Please visit the county website at for updated trail information. Clark County ATV/UTV trails close October 31st each year.
