Accused gas station robber going to trial
(WEAU) - A man accused of a gas station robbery is going to trial.
Court documents show Todd Effertz, 49, was bound over in Eau Claire County court Tuesday. He faces several charges including felony armed robbery.
Eau Claire Police say Effertz went into the Mega Holiday at Birch Street and Hastings Way on Friday, May 11th with a gun and demanded cash.
Officers say he was arrested about a week later.
