NEW INFORMATION: Driver dies following crash in Trempealeau County

WHITEHALL, Wis. (WEAU)-- NEW INFORMATION: The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says 24 year old Neal Coburn of Whitehall passed away Friday evening following a crash on July 28th.

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says it happened Monday night just after 8:30 near the intersection of Sjuggerud Coulee Road and Taylor Road in the Township of Pigeon, east of Whitehall.

Deputies say the driver left the road, hit a driveway embankment, and then rolled several times.

The driver was thrown from the car and had to be flown to the hospital.
Deputies say alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.

Deputies say alcohol may be to blame for a crash that sent a person to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
