Ann Romney holds women's rally at Marquette University
MILWAUKEE (WTMJ) - A rally has finished Thursday at Marquette University's Old Gym for the woman who hopes to be the First Lady of the United States.
Ann Romney appeared at a rally at Marquette University in support of her husband, Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
State Senators Alberta Darling and Leah Vukmir and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, all Republicans, joined Romney at the event.
Marquette University's Law School released a poll Wednesday that had Mr. Romney trailing incumbent President Barack Obama, a Democrat, 54-40.
Mr. Obama was to make a pair of appearances in Downtown Milwaukee on Saturday - an event at the Milwaukee Theatre and a public rally at the Summerfest Grounds.
