New Haven, Connecticut (NBC)-- A Connecticut man was arrested during a Tuesday night showing of "The Dark Knight Rises," after police say he brought a loaded handgun into the theater.
Authorities were tipped off by movie goers that a man was seen with a gun. That's when police came inside and asked patrons to raise their hands and leave the theater.
Officers say 46-year-old Sung Hwang ignored their commands. He was taken into custody by force. Police removed a handgun from his waistband.
Hwang is charged with breach of peace and interfering with police.
He does possess a valid permit to carry a pistol.
