MANKATO, Minn. (WEAU) An arbitrator says Minnesota State University, Mankato, had no grounds to fire its former football coach Todd Hoffner, saying he should be reinstated.
Hoffner's attorney confirmed the ruling Thursday and says Hoffner is weighing his options.
In 2012, Hoffner was charged with two counts of child pornography after video of his naked children was found on his work phone.
The charges were dismissed after a judge determined the images were not child porn.
Minnesota State University, Mankato fired Hoffner last May for undisclosed reasons.
Hoffner, who was the former coach at UW-Eau Claire currently is coaching at Minot State.
