CADOTT, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Cadott Fire Department is honoring a man for 60 years of service.

A ceremony was held for Harold Moldrem Monday night, who has been at the department for 60 years now.

He started as a secretary, and worked his way up to assistant fire chief, and eventually to fire chief
Moldrem also worked as a fire inspector and is currently working in communications.

He says working for the department this long has been very satisfying.

"Every time that pager goes off somebody needs some help and its a personal satisfaction to be able to try and help them," Moldrem said.

He says he plans on sticking around as long as he is physically able, or as long as they will have him around.
