Area hospital kicks off coat and blanket drive

Chippewa Falls, Wi. -- St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls kicked off their annual winter coat and blanket drive Tuesday. They're collecting coats, blankets, snowsuits, hats, mittens, boots and scarves in good and clean condition.

Donations can be dropped off weekdays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the information desk inside the main entrance of the hospital. The collection will end at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25.

Items collected will be distributed to the needy on Saturday, September 27th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital's garage on the east side of the hospital.

Items will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
