NEW INFORMATION: Attorney general candidates to report fundraising

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Democratic candidates for attorney general will be able to see how their fundraising stacks up against the lone Republican candidate with the filing of campaign reports.

The reports showing fundraising through June were due Monday.

State Rep. Jon Richards, of Milwaukee, reported raising $190,000 and having nearly $170,000 cash on hand. Susan Happ, the Jefferson County district attorney, reported raising $170,000 and having nearly $121,000 cash on hand.

The third Democratic candidate, Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne, has not reported any figures.

The lone Republican in the race, Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel, has also not reported any fundraising totals for the year.

The primary is Aug. 12.
