911 service back up for some callers in Clark Co.

(WEAU) – A representative with Clark County tells us that 911 service has been restored for residents experiencing problems with it in that county.

Earlier, a representative told us that 911 service was down for some residents.

A representative with Clark County tells us that 911 service is down for some people in that county.

He says service is not working for people with numbers with the prefix 267 (ex. 267-XXXX) and 743 (ex. 743-XXXX). They ask you to call their non-emergency line if you need to get a hold of authorities. That number is: 715-743-3157.

They do not have an estimated time for the service to be fixed.
