EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – A minivan that hit a car on its way through a red light plowed through a fence and into a yard.

It happened just before noon Monday.

Police say a woman driving a minivan north on Rudolph Road had an unknown medical condition as she approached the intersection at Clairemont Avenue in Eau Claire. The minivan went across all lanes of traffic, hit another car, went off the road and through a fence. It came to rest in a yard, but did not hit the house on the property.

The woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for the medical condition. Nobody was injured in the crash.

Officers closed down the intersection for a short time, and had multiple lanes on Clairemont Avenue closed to traffic for about 30 minutes.
