STORY FROM 12/14
(WEAU) - Deputies have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery Tuesday night near Cornell.

The Chippewa County sheriff says the suspects may be linked to other, what he calls, "related incidents". That's why he says investigators aren't releasing the names of the men they arrested.
He says there are other agencies involved and officers are serving search warrants in this investigation right now, so deputies aren't releasing any other information.

The robbery happened just before 7 p.m. Tuesday night at the G & 64 Country Store. Deputies say two people wearing masks went into the store and demanded money, one of them displaying a handgun to the clerk.

The suspects originally got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
