Madison (WEAU)- The Wisconsin men's basketball team held their final practice in Madison this afternoon as they get ready for Saturday's Final Four showdown against Kentucky at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Badgers will leave for North Texas on Wednesday. Wisconsin has had a couple of days to come down from their high of winning the West Regional over Arizona in dramatic fashion. Coach Bo Ryan's team will face a Wildcats squad loaded with talent. The UW players say getting to the Final Four is special, but the key is not being satisfied.
Junior guard Josh Gasser says, "We're confident, we believe that we're a good team and can beat anybody on any given night if we play our game. We're definitely confident in that, so that's all the matters."
Adds Sophomore forward Sam Dekker, "We didn't want to get there, and come out short. We want to win this next 40 and hopefully get another, and win another. So we have every intention of going down there, and reaching another goal of ours and we're excited to do it."
