Barron County woman found after going missing for three and a half hours

(WEAU) - The Barron County sheriff says a 94-year-old woman who walked away from an assisted living center in Barron Wednesday has been found.

Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says the woman left the Monroe Manor before 6 o'clock Wednesday night and was missing for 3 and a half hours. Fitzgerald says she was found a few blocks away conscious and alert.

He says the several fire departments, a helicopter and volunteers from around Barron helped find her quickly.
