Ben Loomis wins long standing ski jump at Westby, Emilee Anderson captures women's competition, Nick Mattoon 5th in U.S. Cup "A" series

Eau Claire's Ben Loomis won the long standing jump contest with a distance of 129 meters and also won the J1 class at the 5Hills/U.S. Cup ski jumping tournament series Saturday afternoon in Westby. On Friday night, Emillee Anderson captured first place in the Women's Class with a jump of 81 meters, and followed that up by winning the Saturday competition with jumps of 99 and 102 meters. Her second jump of 102 meters was Emilee's furthest jump in her young career. While Nick Mattoon who won the long standing jump competition two weeks ago at Silvermine finished fourth overall in his U.S. Cup "A" class on Friday night and was 5th on Saturday with jumps of 107 and 109 meters. Nick soared 117 meters in the long standing jump contest on Saturday.
