Bernier to run for re-election to State Assembly

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU)-- Kathy Bernier (R-Chippewa Falls) officially announced Friday she will be seeking a 3rd Term in the State Assembly.

Bernier says she's proud of her record so far, but she still feels more could be done to move the state forward.

“I’m very proud of my votes to return our recent budget surpluses to the taxpayers, including real cuts to property and income taxes,” Bernier stated. “The families and small businesses in my district certainly know how to spend their money better than bureaucrats in Madison.”

Bernier was first elected to represent the 68th Assembly District back in 2010.
