Bikers help raise funds to honor 3 slain sisters

RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- Motorcyclists in western Wisconsin are planning a 100-mile ride to raise money for a playground to honor three sisters who were killed by their father.

A jury found 35-year-old Aaron Schaffhausen was sane when he killed 11-year-old Amara, 8-year-old Sophie and 5-year-old Cecilia last July in the girls' River Falls home.

The "River Falls Cruisin for a Cause" motorcycle run will start in River Falls on July 20 and stop at several venues in western Wisconsin. The ride ends with a poker game at Johnnie's Bar in River Falls.

The event takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at St. Croix Lanes in River Falls, Wis. It costs $10 per biker, $5 per passenger and $5 to each poker hand.
