(WEAU) – A Chippewa County man is in jail after threatening his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint.
The Chippewa Co. Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Adam Loew broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home just before 2 a.m. Saturday.
He went into a bedroom and pointed a gun at his ex-girlfriend and another man.
Deputies say the man was able to get the shotgun away from Loew but in midst of the struggle, a shot was fired through a wall, into a room where a child was sleeping.
No one was hurt from the shot.
Loew then took off, and deputies say they later found him near Bloomer and took him in.
