EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Workers at one Eau Claire clinic got a chance to dunk their boss Thursday and help a good cause.
Marshfield Clinic's West District Administrator Scott Polenz donned a pair of swim trucks, and employees paid to get a chance to send him into a dunk tank. Proceeds from the event and a lunch before it, are going to the American Heart Association.
"The money is for heart care, and for the American Heart Association. So we are trying to raise some money for that, and so far we are doing pretty well. I think I have been dunked 10 times, 2 by my daughter," Polenz said.
Employees got unlimited attempts to dunk their boss and to make it a little more interesting, they kept adding ice to the tank.
