EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Eau Claire’s public high schools have been ranked among the top in the state.
The Eau Claire School District says Memorial High School was ranked 3rd in the state by U.S. News, while North was ranked 22nd in the state. That's good enough to win both schools Silver Medal Awards. Memorial was also ranked within the top 900 schools nationally.
U.S. News says Chippewa Falls also earned a Silver Medal Award, ranking #11 in the state.
U.S. News determined the best high schools by analyzing how well students performed on state assessments and test scores.
Other schools in our area to make the top 25 included St. Croix Falls High School at #9, Onalaska High at #10, Menomonie High School at #15 and Ladysmith High School at #21.
