Bowling alley puddle creates obstacle for drivers

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) A large puddle that forms periodically in the parking lot of a local bowling alley is again creating an obstacle for drivers.

Friday the water was stretching across a portion of the parking lot at Wagner's Lanes on Brackett Avenue in Eau Claire.

Wagner's Manager Dave Burg says there is a problem with a detention pond nearby.

He says he rented equipment to pump the water a couple weeks ago, but more water started collecting in the parking lot soon after the job was finished.

Street Maintenance Manager Steven Thompson says the lot is on private property, and the water is the property owner's responsibility.
