STOUGHTON, Wis. (AP) -- Police in Stoughton say a missing five-year-old boy has been found dead in a retention pond.

WISC-TV reports the boy went missing in the town south of Madison at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. His full name has not been released.

Later in the afternoon police got a 911 call reporting a child spotted in the pond. Authorities drained part of it, and divers found the child's body.

The case is separate from another five-year-old boy missing in Pierce County, also on Tuesday.
