Boys & Girls Club shows off its new Technology Center

(WEAU) - The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Chippewa Valley showed off one of its newest additions day.

It held an open house for their new Technology Center, located inside their Eau Claire club. The center gives the members up-to-date computers to do their school work and eventually create college applications and resumes.

Sara Antonson with the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley says this new center is a big improvement over where they were two months ago. “Computers change so quickly. Our computers were about 8-years-old and about two months ago we only had three computers working. So now we have 20 working computers up-to-date. It's pretty exciting.”

The center was funded by United Bank and the John T. Vucurevich Foundation.
