Breitling Jet Team to perform in Wisconsin in 2015

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- The Breitling Jet Team will be performing in the United States for the first time ever and it will be in Wisconsin.

They are performing at the Experimental Aircraft Association's annual AirVenture in Oshkosh in 2015.

The aerobatic display team has seven L-39 C Albatros jets that can reach speeds of up to 565 miles per hour and have flown in 36 countries so far.

The company claims it's the first and largest professional civilian jet team in the world.

Breitling hopes to attract those who missed seeing the Navy's daredevil Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds, which have been making fewer public appearances due to federal budget cuts.

The team will also perform at the National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada.
