CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- A fundraiser for an area non-profit organization has brought in more than $21,000.
On Friday, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin announced the total from the 2014 Bowl for Kids’ Sake—a Bowl through TV Land in Chippewa Falls Thursday. 130 people participated in the event at Falls Bowl. The money goes toward supporting mentoring relationships in the Chippewa Valley.
Bowl for Kids' Sake events continue into next month. There is an event Friday at Broadway Bowl in Menomonie, and events at Wagner's Lanes in Eau Claire from May 2-6, and May 9.
