EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- An event to raise money for a group that supports people suffering with inflammatory bowel diseases brought in more than $10,000.
Take Steps Eau Claire was held Sunday afternoon at Carson Park. It's one of five walks held in Wisconsin for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. Nearly 150 people took part, and raised more than $10,500 Andrew Fefer from WEAU 13 News was the emcee.
The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America provides education and supportive services for people suffering with inflammatory bowel diseases and funds important research to find cures for IBD. This was the second annual Take Steps event in Eau Claire.
