CONSUMER ALERT: Nearly 15,000,000 surge protectors recalled amid reports of damage, injuries

WASHINGTON (WEAU) -- Nearly 15,000,000 surge protectors are being recalled.

"APC 7 and 8 Series SurgeArrest" surge protectors were made before 2003. They could overheat, smoke, and melt. The words "personal," "professional," "performance," or "network" are printed on them. There are several reports of injuries and property damage.
