COUNTRY JAM 2012: Meet & Greet with Craig Morgan

(WEAU) - Fans say country music singer Craig Morgan is famous not only for his music but his looks and two girls couldn't believe they were going to meet him.

"I've never had an opportunity like this in my life so I'm really excited," said Emily Helmer of Spring Valley Wisconsin.

"I'm really excited. I've never met someone famous so I'm freaking out a little bit. I love his music but kind of nervous," said Jenna Buckel of Hammond Wisconsin.

17-year-old Emily Helmer and 18-year-old Jenna Buckel say opportunities like this never happen for them after both growing up in small towns.

"I live on a little farm with pigs so I'm a small town girl that doesn't get much to see things like that so it’s exciting," said Helmer.

"Hope he doesn't think I'm a freak or something," said Buckel.

Then the moment came. Craig Morgan stepped into the Meet & Greet tent and both girls got a photo with him. They even got his autograph which they say they'll cherish forever.

"I'm super excited because he called me “honey” and I just about melted. I was like oh my god," said Helmer.

They also say he was easy on the eyes in person and they liked that he grew up in a small town too.

"He was already sexy in all the videos and so in person…and the muscles and the accent just cherry cherry, one of the best parts," said Helmer and Buckel.

They say they plan to hang their keepsakes in their dorm room at Winona State and will always remember the day they got to meet Craig Morgan.

"By far the best part of our summer. Probably the highlight of my life," said Helmer.
