Cable, WI plays host to Paralympic Nordic Skiing World Cup this week
(WEAU) - Teams from 12 countries are in Cable, northeast of Hayward, this week for the International Paralympic Nordic Skiing World Cup.
Over the 5 day competition, athletes will take part in cross country, and biathlon races. Organizers say preparations for the event have gone well and will be done in time for athletes to begin training for their events.
If you'd like to check it out, competition begins on Thursday and all events are free and open to the public.
