Calendar parking begins Friday in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The City of Eau Claire starts enforcing calendar parking regulations this week.

All roads in the City of Eau Claire are subject to calendar parking rules, which take effect on Friday. It lasts through May 1, 2014. The regulations are in effect between midnight at 7 a.m. everyday. On odd-numbered days, you can only park, stop or leave your vehicle standing on the side of the street that has odd-numbered addresses. On even-numbered days, you can only park, stop, or leave your vehicle standing on the side of the street that has even-numbered addresses. Police will ticket violators, who will then have to pay $30.

Drivers also have to follow any other posted or regulated parking rules in conjunction with the calendar parking regulations. For more information on calendar parking, click on one of the links below.
